• I have a little change in our schedule for the week. I am moving our SCIENCE TEST to this Thursday instead of tomorrow. Last week was SO rushed, I want to have a few more days for the kids to study and be really prepared.
• New AR goals are set. Please check in with your child to see what they are working towards this quarter. I am encouraging everyone to start on their goal early and not wait till the last minute.

Upcoming Events in January

MONDAY- January 20, NO SCHOOL! MLK Jr. Day

WEDNESDAY- January 22, Unit 3 Math Test- We finished up our unit study guide last week. It should be in your child's HW folder     to study for the test on Wednesday.

THURSDAY- January 23, Super Hero Spirit Day!! We are having a rally to kick off our Fun Run that will happen on February 7th. Students are encouraged to wear Super Hero attire. This will be a fun day!

FRIDAY- January 24, this is a half day of school. Pickup is at 12:00 noon, crosswalk is available. Our Family Hoedown is also this evening. It is going to be an awesome night of family fun! Sign up on the school website.

TUESDAY- January 28, SCIENCE Test! We will be completing our unit study guide this week in class.

Pet for a Day!

We had the pleasure of having a class pet on Tuesday in our class. Isla used her share day pass and brought in her pet gecko named Banana! We were able to learn about him and ask questions. We had so much fun having Banana for the day. Thank you, Isla for sharing with us!!

REMINDERS!!!

• END OF THE 2nd QUARTER- January 17th!! The end of our quarter is coming up quickly. Let's finish strong and continue completing homework and doing well on assignments.
• AR Goals are DUE January 17th by 3:00 pm- PLEASE check in with your child about their AR goal. This is a huge portion of their reading grade. Many students have not taken a single AR test this quarter!!!
• Monday, January 20th- NO SCHOOL, MLK Jr. Day
• Friday, January 24th- Minimum day! School is out at 12 pm, crosswalk will be available until 6 pm.
