Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a wonderful last day of school this week! The kids performed Thanksgiving plays, we played games and ate a treat together.  I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy time with family and friends!!

  1. INTERNET SAFETY MEETING - Monday, December 2nd at 7pm in the chapel room. Middle school students invited with parental discretion.
  2. SAVE THE DATE - Carols, Cocoa & Cookies on December 18th at 2:15 for kindergarten - 5th graders.
  3. SHADOWBROOK - fundraiser December 17th, 4-10pm - make a reservation and mention TLCS - celebrate the holidays in style while supporting our school!
  4. SAVE YOUR SHOES - more information to come but we will be holding a shoe drive in the future so if you are purging your closets this holiday season think of us and save your shoes!
  5. HAPPY THANKSGIVING - We are grateful for all of you! "Every good and perfect gift is from above" James 1:17. Enjoy good food and family and we will see you next week

Flashlight Fridays!

One of our favorites this year is flashlight Friday! We close all the curtains and make it as dark as possible in the room. Each child has a flashlight and we read our favorite books in a comfortable place in the room.





Extra Recess on Fridays!

Sometimes on Friday's Mrs. Besk and I let our classes earn extra recess. Here are some pictures of them lining up "really well" to help their chances of a little more playtime

San Juan Bautista

We had a fantastic day yesterday at San Juan Bautista Mission. Thank you to all of the parents who we're able to drive and come along with us. Here are some fun photos of your kids!



The Mission was so beautiful. The kids had a great time exploring and learning. They even got to build their own mission in a game!

Next week...

We made it through conference week! Thank you to all of you for making time to meet with me and chat about your fantastic kids. Our Harvest Party was GREAT! Thank you to all of you who made or brought in supplies for our special day. I am looking forward to the 2nd quarter and all the fun we are going to have learning. Next week, we have our first field trip to San Juan Bautista Mission on Thursday, November 7th. Please send your child to school at normal time and send them with a lunch and water bottle. Our day is going to be awesome! Thank you so much for all of the support you have shown me. Have a great weekend!
