Our landmark project has started! I have sent home a packet telling all the details about our project. Hopefully, you have seen it and have talked with your child about it. Each child has submitted their top 3 choices and was sent home yesterday with one of their choices for their project. Each student will be writing an essay/report about their landmark. There are 5 questions in the packet that should be answered and will help guide them with their essay writing. It is my hope that students will take their time in researching their landmark before they start their essay. We will be spending class time to work on the research and writing portion. However, the model will be made and completed outside of class. The model should be small enough and light enough to be moved by your child, and should fit on their desk.
Please be willing to help your child IF NEEDED. The essay and model should sound and look like a 4th grader made it:)

Model DUE DATE: April 9th (after spring break)
